Another one hour to 2010!

Are you excited for the new decade? I dont know about you, but I sure am.

Well, 2009 has been a really tumultuous year for me. Then again, 2009 has been a year of love, a year of discovery.

A very memorable year for me. I've (in no order cause I cant remember them in the form of timelines!):

Gotten a wonderful boyfriend, (who is playing his HB now, right in front of me!)
Gotten a job at Haagen Dazs, (but kinda lost it/dont want it anymore)
Gotten a GPA of >3.7, (One 2009 resolution point checked.)
Increased another person in my clique, (Yes you, Cindy)
Made another confidante, (Yes you, Jun Rong)
Made friends through my boyfriend, (Fiona, Justin, Sandy, Ee Boon, etc.)
Gotten another job at Cotton On, (And yes, I love my job)
Been loved by my mum and dad and all,
Gotten myself into baby's house!!!!
Attended numerous family events with bb,
Gotten myself an instax camera like finally!

Yes, a year has passed without me knowing, and as much as it sounds cliche, I still want to say this, its been really fast, everything has just gone by in the blink of an eye. I remember writing resolutions for 2009 but I reckon, most of them are unfulfilled. But well, dont you agree that most of us just write/come up with resolutions for this year only to find that we've not completed them the next year?

And yes, It's been a and 1 year and 8 days since I got to know this really awesome porkasaur of mine. Yes, yes, Woo Whye Hong, thats you. :) Just so you know, Christmas Eve and New Year Eve will always hold a particular significance for me.

Though its been a roller coaster ride for me, for us through this 2009 due to so many incidents caused by the careless me.

But hey! We survived, we lived through it.

So for now, lets sit down and wait for the clock to strike 12am before I mass text the people I love.

P/S: Daddy is sick! :( So awful to be sick straight after our 6day trip. Take care, and drink lotsa water alright! (though I know you'll not see it)

The past 5 days was a blast! I had so much fun there! But well, good and happy times always pass so much faster. :( I really like this kinda holiday!

Cut and washed my hair there on different days, and it should be interesting to note that my hair wash actually cost more than my hair cut (Yeah, I did them both at the same place!). And FYI, my hair cut includes wash and blow. Weird huh?

HAHA, and its like baby asked how much would it cost for him to dye his hair: $100
If you want treatment, $98 dollars.
And no, its not $100 + $98. Its just $98.
Somehow, I think there's something wrong somewhere.

Maybe i should do a "day-by-day" post of what we've done there. Keep reading ok! :)

My title says it all! I must have been a very good girl this year! Why?
Cause nuffnang has been getting these really awesome advertisers, and now there's the one about the Garmin Asus phone!

I must have been a really good girl, and santa is trying to give me my christmas gift! (Thats assuming I win the phone. Garmin, wanna be my santa for this year? *Flashes angelic smile*)

Alright, there are actually a few reasons for me to want this phone, the G60, and one reason for me to need a phone. You might think "need" is a total overstatement. But hey, my renoir died on me recently, and I really like her (Its a her because this phone is soooooooooo attractive!) alot! And the most coincidental thing was that, I was contemplating whether or not to buy this phone just last week!

My dad can be a witness! HAHA. (You see, he's the payer of my phone, so I need to get his opinion before I get the phone, or any other phone.) And oh, just to digress, my dad has a Garmin GPS. So in actual fact, we are fans of Garmin's products. :D

Back to the point about Garmin nüvifone™ G60, fact that I want it so badly is because:

Firstly, it is a touch screen phone! And a resistive one at that. You dont know how thrilled I was when I knew it. The only reason that stopped me from getting a HTC Hero was the fact that it uses capacitive touch screen. I am a girl who like long nails, so its only logical that I choose resistive screens over capacitive touch screens any time of the day!
Secondly, the screen is soooooo big! It has a comparable, if not, larger screen size than that of my Renoir baby. Big screens allow me to do so much more than small screens. I can check out my hair and my makeup through the reflection! JUST KIDDING! But well, its undeniable that big screens are just so much better!
Thirdly, it has 3G! Haha, I like 3G cause it allows me to talk to my boyfriend and see where he is! Another point is that sometimes my baby sister wants my mother when she is at work! So guess what I'll do? Make a video call to her so baby can see mummy's face! Problem solved. Easy peasy!
Fourthly, it has 4GB of onboard storage memory! Thats a whole lot of memory space! So I can camwhore and watch videos on it!
Geotagging makes everything so much better since I will be able to know where exactly I've taken my photos! Imagine you and your husband going back to the exact place/spot where you guys took your 1st date photo or your wedding photo? How sweeeeet can that get?
There's also the privilege of you being able to read documents on this phone be it in PDF, Microsoft Word or Powerpoint or Excel! This would be so good for a busy student like me who always needs to rush projects to meet deadlines!

HERE COMES THE MAIN ATTRACTION:

IT COMES WITH PRELOADED MAPS! It is a very very good thing for someone like me who is forever lost. It would even be of more help to me after I get my driving license! It'll be a serious joke if i get lost in such a small country like Singapore, right? Spare me the embarrassment please! :D
It also includes "Where am I?" safety feature which displays your current address and nearest police, hospital and fuel services in 1 click which is so fantastic for someone like me since I'm always so careless and forgetful!

Ok, ok, there are so much more that amazes me but I think I've been really long winded, and this post is looking so much more like an essay! But hey, this shows how much I really really like this phone, and want to have call a G60 mine!

Alright, so here comes the big question... Will Garmin be my Santa this year?

Ok, now to take a break from all the studying... To blog about Nuffnang!

HAHA, to me, nuffnang is a platform for bloggers to connect. To add on to the already-awesome fact, you guys actually give out movie tickets every now and then, have promotions like the singtel red pac one, and there are just so much more...

In actual fact, I dont have much, or rather, any memorable nuffnang event to talk about. No, its not because I never tried blogging about the movies, and its not that I never got chosen to attend the screenings. Its just that everytime (okay, just twice, but still...) I win the tickets to some movies, i would always end up having some last minute appointment resulting in me giving the screenings a miss. :(

So sad right! So this time around, I hope I really get to go to this screening since its on a Friday, and guess what!? My last paper is on Thursday! :D

Alright, Just a very short post. Needa go back to studying...
Shall see if I get the honour of attending it this time around!
