Aite, I randomly caught a glimpse of my resolutions for 2009 just as I was sitting in front of my board stoning.
Guess its time to reflect upon what I've done (or in this case, what I have not.) for this almost-half-year.

Just to refresh:
1. I must save $500 by JUNE.
2. I must maintain my gpa.
3. I must keep my room clean and tidy.
4. I must not buy things that I dont need.
5. I must/should try to be nice to even people I detest.
6. I must feel good about myself; lose weight-3kgs.
7. i must do all my tutorials diligently.
8. I must not be late for my classes.
9. I must keep to my cleansing regime.
10. I must live everyday positively; treasure the people around me.

So, which of them have I done?
Lets see.
1. Not accomplished, still short, very short from my goal.
2. Cannot be determined, yet.
3. I tried, but well...
4. Yes, i havent been buying things.
5. Well, I think I am nicer these days. Unless I really get blinded by my anger, so I guess I deserve half a tick!/2
6. BIG FAT NO. I EVEN PUT ON SOSOSOSO MUCH WEIGHT. GOODNESS.
7. I did FMA, for the 2nd tutorial... So I guess thats a no.
8. Much as I want to deny, but yeah, I havent been on time for classes ever since school started.
10. Probably? I tried to be nicer to everyone! So, I would say, half a tick? HAHAHA./2

SO, To sum them all up, I have done 2/10 of them!

Its almost half a year already, and my list is not even 1/4 done.
The devil is saying "Its ok! There's still so much time! More than 7 months! Take your time loh, no harm what!"
The angel is saying "OHMYGOODNESS. How could you have allowed things like that to happen? Only 2 things out of your whole list of things? What a disappointment! But its still not too late to change you know?"

So once you have it, don't ever let go.
The chance might never come your way again.

It is better to lose your pride to the one that you love,
than lose the one you love to pride.
We often spend too much time looking for the right person to love,
or finding faults with those we already love.
When instead,
we should be perfecting the love we give.

When you truly care for someone,
you don't look for faults,
you don't look for answers,
you don't look for mistakes.
Instead,
you fight the mistakes,
you accept the faults,
and overlook the excuses.

Give more, expect less.
That's how you will enjoy your life more.

There's this weird feeling in me.
Maybe I just feel like i'm not good enough?

So, yesterday's been a long and sombre day.
For me of course, but still, my day wasnt half as hard as it is for love.
Got me thinking about several issues,
and yeah, I admit, I got really distracted.


Well, lots of things in life are predestined,
many of which we dont like it.
Many a times, we take things and people for granted,
treating them like they are supposed to be here.
We never knew, or rather, spent time to think hard about how important they are,
till we lose them for good.

It always suck to face something you dont want to.
But life isnt always smooth sailing.


Fortunately, for every minute of unhappiness you face,
you get 10minutes of happiness in return.
There's always the rainbow after a storm, remember?


So please people, count your blessings, and treat your loved ones well.
Spend time with them, even if its just 5 minutes a day.
积少成多, get it?

And last but not least, give thanks to everyone that has taken the effort to make sure that things go smoothly for you and treat you well, even if the gesture is a really small one.
